EASTER

Here is just one more post for the day - Easter Sunday. I made both the kids little Easter outfits. I'm lucky that they're so little, we didn't get around to the egg hunt until Monday, hopefully by the time it matters, I'll have my ducks in a row:)

My happy babies

Just a good Sunday with my happy babies:)

Countertops

I have memories of being younger, everything seemed so big. I specifically remember the countertop in my Mother's kitchen being very high and so when I could reach things on top of that high counter, well I thought that was pretty great. Every time I go home now, I remember that feeling of being so little. It's a way I keep track/measure and remember how small I was once. So when I saw that Sam was tiny enough to stand under our dining room table I thought, now wouldn't that be a great way to measure him and to mark time....to maybe one day say, "I remember when you were so small you could stand right under our table."....well I think that would be neat. So here is my tiny boy, standing right under our dining room table.

Pretty pretty princess

Friday was pretty pretty princess day at the library. Amelia joined in the fun, which included stories, songs, and finger plays, but nothing was as fun as scarf dancing (as you can imagine). We ended the session with a rousing version of "If you're royalty and you know it, clap your hands"...you can see Amelia KNOWS she IS.

Oh just forget it

I officially give up on trying to catch up. I will blog this last week's events. If you're dying to know what has happened previously this is it.
1. Moved from Topeka to the Garden City Comfort Inn.
2. Found out Jared passed the bar, moved into an apartment.
3. Sold our Topeka house, bought a house here.
4. Moved in.
5. Continuing to unpack and organize.
There you have it. Now of course imagine all the silly antics of our children and that will catch you up to now.
and here we go....

Ponytails

I just have to say I was THRILLED the day we could finally get Amelia's little bits of hair into REAL LIFE ponytails, a day I'll never forget. Real ponytails - of our very own!

Halloween continues

Halloween night we headed to the "Boo at the Zoo", it was a little scary, but the babies looked sweet:)
We are going for Peter Rabbit, Mr. Mcgregor, and the "garden" - Sam the pea.

Halloween Festivities

A local nursery held a Halloween carnival, Amelia enjoyed paper mache pumpkin decorating and the train ride - I think we enjoyed it more:) Amelia was distracted by the scary sounds coming from the haunted maze.
